How to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit

"And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled and stimulated with the [Holy] Spirit." Eph 5:18 AMP

This will be an ongoing blog entry.  I will continue to add to it as I progress in writing the book on how to continually be filled with the Holy Spirit.

For now, it will be a place to store my research to date and for me to share this research with other.

Below is a list of activities the Holy Spirit gave me during a time of prayer.  I'm sure their will be other things I will add to the list over time but these are things you and I can do every day to be ever filled with the Holy Spirit.  They are in no particular order...

  • Memorizing Scripture
  • Abiding in Jesus
  • Obeying God
  • Waiting on God
  • Humbling ourselves
  • Standing on the Word of God
  • Listening to the voice of God
  • Shouting!
  • Writing down what God has spoken to and thru us
  • Forgiving
  • Resting
  • Putting on (Eph 4:22-24)
  • Putting off  (Eph 4:22-24)
  • Rejoicing
  • Thanking
  • Worshipping
  • Praising
  • Singing
  • Reading the Bible
  • Fellowshipping
  • Praying
  • Speaking in tongues
  • Meditating
  • Teaching
  • Learning
  • Confessing
  • Repenting
  • Receiving
  • Loving
  • Healing
  • Saving
  • Delivering
  • Serving

Ask God how you can incoporate these activities into your daily life.  "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says." James 1:22 [Jesus] replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."  Luke 11:28
